Founded in 1926 and with over 20 worldwide registered patents related to both equipment and materials, Società per Azioni Frateli Citterio is fully dedicated to the development and production of protective materials (e.g., pre-pregs) for ballistic, stab, and multi-threat protection, as well as hard armor for the protection industry.
ROLE IN UTILE PROJECT
CITTERIO leads the activities related to recycled aramid weaving and pre-preg manufacturing, working closely with FECSA (helmet manufacturer) and FUNDITEC (resin provider).
CITTERIO also contributes to helmet fabrication in the first case study (CS1) and assess the properties of the bio-based resin developed by FUNDITEC.
